Stage 1: PRESSING - making a desired shape out of the chunk of raw material by heating and casting under pressure into a metal mould. |

Stage 2: CUTTING - making strict edges and facets from the previously pressed model by hand and machine. Models can be full or half cut. |

Stage 3: POLISHING - making the perfect surface of facets. In stead of mechanical polishing sometimes fire polishing can be used which helps skipping expensive process of cutting. |
